The injury occurred during the final performance of his Unfinished North America Tour, which has now become the most successful Indian hip-hop tour overseas, grossing over $6 million (approx. The 39-year-old artist first experienced discomfort during his final show, reportedly when a foreign particle entered his eye at the start of his performance. Despite the pain, Badshah continued to perform until the end, showing professionalism and commitment to his fans.
Upon his return to India, doctors diagnosed him with a corneal abrasion—an injury caused by scratching or trauma to the surface of the eye. He later shared a light-hearted update on Instagram, posting a photo with an eye patch and referencing his cameo in the series The Bads of Bollywood with the caption: “Avtar ji ka mukka hit karta hai jaisee.” He is currently recovering and has been advised to wear an eye patch for five days.
