Recap of Alice in Borderland Season 2
Alice in Borderland Season 2 continued the thrilling story of ‘Arisu’ and his friends, as they found themselves in the middle of a deadly challenge. After completing all the number-card games in Season 1, the survivors were introduced to a new set of challenges based on face cards-Jacks, Queens, and Kings.
Jack of Hearts was a game of deception and trust, in which players had to guess card suits on the backs of other players’ collars. King of Diamonds was a game that combined math and poker skills. Lastly, King of Clubs was a team-based game similar to capture the flag. In this ‘Tattu’ tragically sacrificed himself.
The main antagonist of the season was the King of Spades, which could appear at any time and anywhere in the ‘Borderlands’, making it a constant threat. Eventually, ‘Arisu’ and his friends defeated him. The final game involved the Queen of Hearts, which tried to confuse ‘Arisu’ with psychological tricks, but he completed the game successfully. The season ended with Arisu and Usagi meeting again in the real world, but the final twist was the Joker card, which hinted towards Season 3.

The Season 2 of this popular Japanese show, Alice in Borderland ended on a mysterious turn, when ‘Arisu’ and ‘Usagi’ seemed to escape the ‘Borderland’, but a Joker card showed up as a warning. In Season 3, viewers will witness ‘Usagi’s’ abduction, which forces ‘Arisu’ to enter the dangerous world. But saving ‘Usagi’ will not be very easy because of the Joker card, which will increase the issues and stakes of the game. The previous two seasons of Alice of Borderland had 8 episodes each, but this time, the show is expected to have only 6 episodes, and all of them will be available on September 25, 2025.
