Kate Middleton and Prince William visited the classmates of the three children who were fatally stabbed during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.
On Tuesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in Southport, England, to speak to teachers at Farnborough Road Infant and Junior School to hear about how the deadly attack impacted them more than a year later.
Additionally, William and Middleton, both 43, spoke privately to the family of Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, one of three young girls who were killed in the stabbing attack.
In July 2024, Stancombe, along with Alice da Silva Aguiar, 9, and Bebe King, 6, were murdered while 10 others were injured as they attended the “Taylor Swift Yoga and Dance Workshop.”
Axel Rudakubana, who was 18 at the time, was arrested and charged with three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder.
In January, Rudakubana, who later bragged about being “so happy” the “children are dead,” was sentenced to 13 counts of life and ordered to a minimum of 52 years for the murders.
Last November, Middleton invited the survivors and the relatives of victims of the stabbing attack to her Christmas carol service that took place the following month.
“The royal family [has] been a tremendous support to the families,” a royal source told the Sun at the time.
“King [Charles III] met the survivors, then Kate took time out to meet them in private last month with Prince William.”
The insider said the Middleton “personally ensured” that everyone affected by the tragic event would be invited to “Together at Christmas,” which “will mean more to her than ever before.”
The families and survivors were treated to three days in London.
Swift, 35, met with the survivors and the victims’ families during her Eras tour stop in London in August 2024. The “Bad Blood” singer also raised more than $25,000 for them.
