Puma’s new collaboration with French designer Louis Gabriel Nouchi finally has a release date.
For the duo’s third drop, Puma and Nouchi updated the Mostro Sock, an evolution of the original 1999 hybrid silhouette.
According to Puma, this sleek evolution trades the signature strap closure for an ankle-high sock profile, while preserving iconic Mostro details with its recognizable spiked rubber sole.
The outsole’s aggressive tread pattern features distinctive visual texture, staying true to the original Mostro’s sport-inspired DNA, Puma noted.
Available in black and khaki, each pair features a breathable textile upper and a functional rear pull tab for easy on-and-off wear.
Drawing influence from the textiles and shapes used in running and football styles, the Mostro Sock also introduces accessibility-focused innovation, with its laceless slip-on design offering effortless wear for para-athletes.
The Puma x LGN Mostro Sock will be available from Sept. 27 at louisgabrielnouchi.com and selected Puma stockists.

This latest release comes after Puma and LGN revealed part two of their collaborative Mostro Mule style in May.
The Mostro silhouette from 1999 is reinterpreted to feature a backless, streamlined shape and slip-on fit, showcasing one of the signature details of the Mostro style: spikes. Following the duo’s initial January release featuring tonal black-and-white options, the May drop included two-tonal colorways offered in brown and dark green.
The Puma Mostro was originally introduced over 25 years ago, containing design references to vintage track and surfing footwear. Known today for its distinct look, the silhouette takes its name from the Italian word for “monster.”
This new collaboration marks the latest interpretation of Puma’s signature Mostro style. Perhaps its most notable recent tie-up on the silhouette is with rap super star A$AP Rocky. The collaboration between Puma and Rocky saw the birth of the 3D printed Mostro, which help the duo land the Collaboration of the Year award at the 2024 FNAAs in December.
