Recently, Janhvi Kapoor was seen in the navy blue and golden embroidered saree at the special screening of Homebound, which instantly reminded fans of Sridevi. The iconic outfit was once worn by the legendary actress at Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli‘s wedding reception. It was Sridevi’s grace and elegance that made the saree a memorable outfit.
On September 22, 2025, when Janhvi Kapoor wore the same saree, a lot of fans got emotional thinking of Sridevi. Recently, a video of the same was shared on Instagram by Viral Bhayani and fans couldn’t help but miss Sridevi. One fan commented, “I think she’s wearing her Mom’s saree.. so beautiful.” Another fan wrote, “Shri Devi ji ki yaad aa gayi.” A third fan penned, “Taking her mom’s legacy forward.”
