Calling Charlie Kirk “a giant of his generation,” in his speech to the memorial service, United States President Donald Trump also termed Kirk a “great American hero” and an evangelist and martyr for freedom. “His voice on earth will echo through the generations. He will live forever,” Trump said.
The Republican leader was the final speaker at the massive memorial for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, where he said that Kirk was killed by a “radicalised, cold-blooded monster.”
“The gun was pointed at him, but the bullet was aimed at all of us. That bullet was aimed at every one of us,” Trump asserted.

President Trump and cabinet officials eulogised Kirk during the hours-long service, which took place nearly two weeks after the conservative activist was shot to death.
Kirk’s wife, Erika, fought back tears as she appeared on the stage, receiving thunderous applause.
The widow of Conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated earlier this month, told the crowd during a memorial in Glendale, Arizona, that she forgives her husband’s shooter.

“I forgive him,” Erika said. “On the cross our saviour said, ‘Father, forgive them for they know not what they do’,” Erika also said. She asserted that this is what Charlie would do too.
Charlie Kirk, aged 31, died on 10 September at Utah Valley University. Police arrested Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old college dropout, for shooting Kirk dead. He is charged with murder and other offences.
