For the reopening of its renovated Manhattan flagship, Kith is reuniting with New Balance on a fresh silhouette: the Abzorb 2010. Designed by Ronnie Fieg in partnership with the heritage footwear brand, the new model draws from archival design language while introducing modern material updates and signature Kith detailing. The collaboration launches on Friday exclusively at the newly reopened Kith location.
The Abzorb 2010 will release in two distinct colorways. One pair leans into deep, tonal shades of purple, burgundy and soft blue, while the other uses a high-contrast palette of black, purple and yellow. Both pairs incorporate breathable mesh underlays with layered pig suede and synthetic nubuck, creating a textured, dimensional look. Custom branding includes Fieg’s name on the insole, a debossed Kith monogram on each side’s “N” logo, and tonal outsoles with purple or silver pods.

The collaboration continues a longstanding relationship between Ronnie Fieg and New Balance, one that’s delivered highly collectible iterations of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes — from multiple 990 series drops to last year’s Toronto-exclusive 1700s. The Abzorb 2010 marks a new entry in their joint catalog.
“The corner of Lafayette and Bleecker is ingrained not just in the brand’s DNA, but in mine,” Fieg said of the newly overhauled Kith flagship. The three-level store now serves as a men’s-only retail space, with the main floor reserved for Kith collections and key collaborations. Footwear has moved to the expanded third floor, with a wider selection that includes New Balance, Nike, Adidas, Hoka and others.

The timing of the Abzorb 2010 release underscores Fieg’s strategy of anchoring product moments to key brand milestones. The reopening will also see the launch of Kith’s summer 2025 collection, an exclusive Cigarette Racing capsule and the premiere of The Metropolitan Cronut at Kith Treats.
Following its in-store release on Friday, the Abzorb 2010 will be available in limited quantities on Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET via Kith shops, Kith.com and the Kith App. Retail is set at $160.
