    India vs Australia Women’s ODI: Delhi traffic advisory, check routes here

    The Delhi Traffic Police has released a detailed advisory ahead of the One Day (Day–Night) International Cricket Match between India and Australia (Women) scheduled at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Feroz Shah Kotla Ground on September 20, 2025, from 1:30 pm onwards. To ensure smooth traffic movement and public convenience, specific restrictions, diversions, and parking arrangements will be in place around the stadium.

    DIVERSION AND RESTRICTIONS

    • No heavy vehicles will be permitted on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg.

    • Traffic restrictions will be enforced from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm on the following stretches:

    • JLN Marg (Rajghat to Delhi Gate via R/A Kamla Market – both carriageways)

    • Asaf Ali Road (Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate)

    • Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk – both carriageways)

    ENTRY TO THE STADIUM

    • Gate Nos. 1–8: Entry from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (Southern side)

    • Gate Nos. 10–15: Entry from JLN Marg, next to Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal (Eastern side)

    • Gate Nos. 16–18: Entry from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg near Petrol Pump (Western side)

    PARKING ARRANGEMENTS

    Free Parking: Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Velodrome Road (with park & ride facility).

    • Labelled Vehicle Parking (valid parking labels mandatory):

    • P-1: JP Park (Four-wheelers, opposite Gate No. 3)

    • P-2: Vikram Nagar Parking (Four-wheelers, adjacent to Shahidi Park)

    • P-3: Near JJB/Prayas Office (Two-wheelers)

    • P-4: GLNS School (Deaf & Dumb School, near JJB/Prayas office)

    • Vehicles without valid labels will not be permitted near the stadium.

    GENERAL VEHICLES

    No parking allowed on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg, and Ring Road (Rajghat to IP Flyover) on match day.

    Vehicles parked in these restricted areas will be towed and penalised as per the law.

    PARK & RIDE FACILITY

    To ease congestion, spectators can use designated Park & Ride sites with shuttle services and walking routes:

    • Mata Sundari Parking

    • Shanti Van Parking

    • Rajghat Service Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Velodrome Road (near IG Stadium)

    • Shuttle buses will operate two hours before the match and continue till one hour after its commencement. Return shuttles will begin immediately after the match and run for an additional hour.

    For convenience, app-based taxis and cabs should use the service lane on Ring Road between IP Flyover and Rajghat Crossing for pick-up and drop-off.The Delhi Traffic Police has urged spectators and commuters to plan their travel, avoid restricted areas, and use public transport or park & ride facilities for a smoother experience.
