His death came as a shock, as it happened due to a fatal accident. He was currently in Singapore, and his performance was scheduled for the North East India Festival there. Well, his demise took place suddenly, as he met with an accident, after he fell into the sea while scuba diving. As the industry mourns the talented singer’s passing, his last video has surfaced on social media, leaving everyone in tears.
Zubeen Garg’s last emotional video with his fans surfaces after his sudden demise broke hearts
Recently, Zubeen Garg reportedly performed at the North East India Festival in Singapore, and a video is now going viral, soon after the news of his death broke hearts. In the video, Zubeen was seen accompanied by his fans as he soulfully sang the song, Tears in Heaven. His clip has been widely shared on social media, tagging it as the last video of the singer, which showcased his emotional connection to his fans.
The audience remained in awe as he sang the soulful song, and now that the video is being shared, it’s breaking hearts, even as the weight of the video is multiplied by the meaning of the lyrics, as he said, ‘If I Saw You At Heaven…’. The entire industry has left shocked with Zubeen’s passing, as it was unexpected, caused by the fatal incident.
Zubeen Garg passed away while scuba diving in Singapore
It was only a day ago when Zubeen Garg took to his social media handle and announced that he would be in Singapore to take part in the North East India Festival. Reportedly, the singer was in Singapore and even took part in the festival, after which he spent his spare time scuba diving. If the reports are to be believed, the singer met with an accident and fell into the sea while trying to dive. He was immediately taken to the hospital, and despite all the medical trials, he couldn’t be saved, leaving a hollow in the hearts of his fans, forever. Reportedly, this year only, Zubeen was hospitalised as he faced a certain illness due to a gastric issue, which led him to feel nausea, along with hints of chest pain.

Zubeen Garg was a renowned singer who sang the popular song Ya Ali. Not only that, but he also lent his voice to several Hindi movie songs, including Dil Se, Vaastav, Fiza, Asoka, Kaante, Gangster, and Krissh 3, among others. Apart from Hindi, he also lent his voice to Bengali songs, and some of his famous Bengali songs include Tumi asbe bole, Ei mon tomake dilam, Chirodini tumi je amar, Mon mane na, among many others.
Apart from being a singer, he also took on the role of a producer with the movie Mission China, and reportedly, he had a dream to make more films. He was known for his hard work and talents, and he would often complete 15-20 songs in a day, which contributed to his success in the music world. In his personal life, he was married to Garima Saikia Garg, a fashion designer, who also collaborated with him on the movie, Mission China.
