Austin Butler has purchased a Los Angeles home from Brad Pitt, months after the high-profile property was hit by burglars.
According to real estate sources for TMZ, the “Elvis” actor, 34, acquired the “F1” star’s historic Los Feliz property for $5.2 million after closing on the sale last Friday.
A rep for Butler did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on the purchase.
The deal between the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” co-stars came almost three months after Pitt’s estate was targeted by thieves in June.
An LAPD spokesperson told Page Six at the time that three suspects “ransacked” the property late on June 25 after scaling a fence and breaking in through a front window.
They fled with an unknown amount of items, though the actor wasn’t home. Pitt was away on the “F1” press tour during the burglary, hitting red carpet premieres in New York, Mexico and London.
The sale comes only two years after the “Wolfs” actor, 61, acquired the home himself in a star-studded estate swap with oil heiress Aileen Getty, according to the Daily Mail.
In April 2023, the father of six scooped up the L-shaped property — known as “The Steel House” — for $5.5 million from Getty, while she purchased his previous home in the same area for $33 million.
Butler’s impressive new three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has just over 2000 square feet of living space, and features solar panels, a luxury built in sauna and an expansive outdoor pool among other amenities.
As for Pitt, The Post confirmed earlier in September that he purchased a $12 million Hollywood Hills estate with upgraded security features.
The spacious 8,385-square-foot Spanish-style property features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, in addition to a theater, fire pit and pool — but it was the home’s security features that reportedly drew Pitt to it.
“He wanted somewhere that could provide an optimal security system and privacy and this place caught his eye,” a source explained to The Post of the home, which the Wall Street Journal reported was previously owned by The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning and his wife, Emilie Keuning.
They added, “Long before his home was burglarized, security was always a priority.”
