All four members had distinctive personalities, and Ned was known as the perfect family man, always talking about his wife. However, in 2022, the fans of Try Guys got the biggest shock when the ‘wife guy’ was caught cheating with an employee.
Now, after three years, Ned Fulmer and his wife, Ariel, laid their current relationship status bare after he was caught cheating. In Ned’s new podcast, where Ariel was the first guest, they had an honest conversation about their separation and whether Ariel has forgiven Ned. Ned Fulmer and Ariel met in 2009
Ned Fulmer had often told the story about how he first met his wife, Ariel. As described by him in various videos of the Try Guys, he met Ariel in 2009 at a party after they had just graduated from college. As the spouses of the four Try Guys content creators also became popular with their frequent appearances on the channel, fans started calling them the ‘Try Wives’. In the ‘Try Wives’ podcast called You Can Sit With Us, Ariel shared about her first meeting with Ned:
“Ned describes the whole situation as, like, he saw me when he first walked into the party, and there was nobody else.”
Ned Fulmer and Ariel tied the knot in 2012 and became parents a few years later
Ned Fulmer and Ariel got married in 2012. A year before his cheating scandal came to light, Ned had shared photos from their wedding day on his Instagram to celebrate their ninth anniversary. However, even though the news of Ned’s infidelity broke out in September 2022, neither of them shared any posts or wishes on social media to celebrate their tenth anniversary in June of the same year. This has led to speculations that the couple was already going through troubles, and perhaps Ariel knew about her husband’s unfaithfulness.
After four years of their marriage, Ned and Ariel announced that they were expecting their first baby in 2018. As fans had been eagerly awaiting this moment, the announcement was a joyous occasion for the content creators’ team and their viewers. The couple welcomed their first son, Wesley. Then in 2020, they became parents again and were blessed with another baby boy, Finn.

For months, there had been some buzz about Ned Fulmer supposedly cheating on his wife, Ariel. However, a leaked video not only confirmed it but also showed that Ned was romantically involved with an Associate Producer of the Try Guys’ parent company, 2nd Try. The scandal spread like wildfire because not only was Ned known as the ‘wife guy’ but as a co-founder, his relationship with an employee was seen as a misuse of power. As a result, Ned Fulmer was also ousted from the Try Guys and he was erased from upcoming videos which were filmed before the scandal came out.
On Labour Day 2022, Ned was seen kissing and engaging in romantic behaviour with a woman at a Harry Styles concert and later at a club. Although the woman was not named in the leaked video, Try Guys’ fans recognised Alexandria as she had appeared in some of the channel’s mukbang-style videos and was one of the ‘Food Babies’. In Ned’s newly launched podcast, Rock Bottom, Ariel revealed her reaction to a snap of the leaked video and shared:
“I found out about your affair from the fans, and I was so blindsided. Somebody sent me a picture and I — I, like I couldn’t, it was like my brain couldn’t compute. And I — I, it’s like for some reason I couldn’t see what was there in the picture. I thought it was your sister. I remember sending it to you and being like, ‘What is your sister doing in New York?’ And think back on that, and I think like, What was I? How did I not see what was going on? What was so f***ed up in my brain that I couldn’t see what was going on in this picture?”

In his first interview after the cheating scandal, Ned said to People that his marriage with Ariel was stronger than ever after they went for couples therapy and he came clean to her about his actions. He also expressed remorse at the pain he had caused his wife and shared:
“That was most devastating to work through and to realize—how much pain I had caused her. If I were looking at a past version of myself, how I’d really want to change the way I’d been interacting with her.”
However, a day after this interview, on September 17, 2025, Ned and Ariel revealed in the first episode of the podcast that they are not together anymore and have been separated since his cheating scandal in 2022. Ned shared:
“We really haven’t been in a romantic relationship these past three years. Just because you go to a Taylor Swift concert together does not mean that you’re — that all is forgiven.”
Ariel also said that she hasn’t forgiven Ned for his infidelity. However, for the sake of their children, they remain good friends and continue to enjoy spending time together. Although the separated couple discussed living in different homes, whether they are officially divorced or not remains unconfirmed. Ariel said in the podcast:
“People ask me like, ‘Do you forgive Ned for what he did?’ and I mean, the answer is no. Absolutely not, how could you forgive somebody for lying to you, for cheating on you? No, f*** no… Forgiveness isn’t the goal at this point. The fact that I can be around you and still like have a good time, and enjoy spending time with you and spending time with my kids? I think that’s a win.”
