A boy was stabbed by another minor after objecting to repeated teasing about his weight in Gujarat’s Mehsana. Police reported that the injured student is now in stable condition, and a case has been registered as authorities continue their investigation into the matter.

The incident occurred when one student allegedly taunted the other by calling him ‘fat’ multiple times. After the victim told the accused to stop, the situation escalated, resulting in the stabbing.

The victim was at his maternal uncle’s house when the stabbing incident occurred. The maternal uncle explained that he was at work when the boy’s mother called and informed him that his nephew had been stabbed by another minor living in the same society, and he had been taken to the hospital.

The boy received medical attention and is reported to be healthy following treatment.

The police took the maternal uncle’s complaint and registered a case. The investigation is ongoing.

When the maternal uncle went to the hospital and asked his nephew, he was told that the boy who attacked with the knife used to tease him by calling him fat, due to repeated teasing, he stopped that boy from doing so and forbade him, after which the minor got angry and attacked with the knife.
