Salma Hayek and her husband, François-Henri Pinault, arrived at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner in New York on Thursday wearing coordinated outfits. The couple, who were the hosts of the dinner, went all-black for the black tie affair, and they both stepped onto the red carpet in elegant black shoes.

Hayek, as expected, wore a pair of towering high heels. The actress is often spotted wearing tall, platform heels from Saint Laurent, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. This time around, she opted for a pair of black satin sandals with a crisscross strap design at the vamp. The open-toe silhouette featured a lofty platform in the front of the shoe and a slim strap around the ankle.

She paired the shoes with a blazer-inspired black gown by Balenciaga. The dress featured a tailored design with a plunging neckline and a double-breasted button design. The strapless dress featured a subtle thigh-high slit, courtesy of its buttoned structure, allowing the sandals to peek through the floor-length gown. Hayek completed her look with a slick half-up ponytail and drop diamond earrings.

Like his wife, Pinault also wore a pair of sleek black shoes, going for a pair of Balenciaga Derby shoes. The shoes featured a square-toe design, with lace-up closure at the uppers, with two slim stitching lines decorating the vamp. He paired the shoes with a traditional black suit and white dress shirt, with a slim black bow tie.

This was the fourth annual Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner. The event unites leaders from fashion, film and culture to raise vital funds for organizations combating gender-based violence and supporting survivors and their families in gaining financial empowerment and independence. The intimate evening supports a global call to end gender-based violence and improve the lives of survivors and featured guests like Julianne Moore, Yara Shahidi, Dakota Johnson, Demi Moore and more.
