The drama inside Bigg Boss 19 doesn’t seem to be slowing down. After being called out by Salman Khan in the previous Weekend Ka Vaar for unnecessarily dragging Abhishek Bajaj’s name in the captaincy task, contestant Nehal Chudasama has once again found herself in the spotlight—this time for her remarks against composer-singer Amaal Mallik.

On September 12, a clip went viral in which Nehal accused Amaal of inappropriate conduct during a captaincy task. Shortly after, Amaal’s brother and singer Armaan Malik took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his support, writing, “So proud of how Amaal is coming into his own on the show. It’s tough seeing him sad sometimes, but the love from you all, and even a few inside, will keep him strong.”

The incident inside the house
The task in question divided housemates into two teams. Each group had to write on their board while a member from the opposite team erased it. Amaal took up the erasing duty for Team A, while Nehal was tasked with writing for Team B. Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar were appointed as the sanchalaks.
Tensions rose when Nehal accused Amaal of “pouncing” on her during the task. Contestant Pranit More intervened, reminding Nehal that she was aware male contestants would be involved in blocking the writing. Nehal continued to argue, saying Amaal was towering over her, but Amaal clarified he was simply carrying out his task and repeatedly apologised during the exchange.
At one point, Nehal even lay down in front of Amaal and later perched on his shoulder to stop him. Despite the intensity of the task, Amaal maintained his composure and continued apologising.
What’s next?
It remains to be seen whether this issue will be addressed in the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar. However, this weekend will see a change in hosting duties. Original Bigg Boss host Arshad Warsi will return to the stage alongside Akshay Kumar to promote their upcoming film Jolly LLB 3. Salman Khan, who usually headlines the weekend episodes, will be absent as he is currently shooting for Apoorva Lakhia’s Battle of Galwan in Leh.
