Larroudé teamed up with fashion visionary Candy Pratts Price on an exclusive limited-edition capsule collection showcasing four unique footwear silhouettes, available on Friday at larroude.com.

A recipient of the CFDA’s Eugenia Sheppard Award for Journalism, Price has had an influential career in fashion spanning Bloomingdale’s, Vogue, style.com, Ralph Lauren and American Fashion Accessories. Larroudé started her career at style.com working under Price, where Price started the Accessories Report and mentored Larroudé in footwear and accessories, establishing the groundwork for her prowess.

Grounded in the high-heel pump, their collaborative collection aims to deliver women’s footwear essentials. This includes The Pump, a classic pointed-toe creation; The D’Orsay Pump in black denim with jet black crystals; The Ankle-Strap Low Pump with a block heel; The Loafer, a classic slim style, and The Snakeskin Loafer, which offers a reptilian take on the silhouette.
Of The Loafer, Price said in a statement, “When it comes to a loafer — I go tailor loafer. Wafer-thin sole, long throat, soft, soft, soft leather.”

And speaking on The Snakeskin Loafer, she commented, “Decadently sensual yet also heart breakingly sympathetic — that’s rock ’n’ roll, no? Just like any skin.”
Marina Larroudé, cofounder of Larroudé, said in a statement on the collaboration, “Candy was my very first boss, and everything I learned about accessories started with her. Candy Pratts Price is the latest in a long list of collaborators who have worked with Larroudé, which Marina and her husband, Ricardo, cofounded in 2020. For example, the brand also teamed up with Jane Win on a jewelry capsule and even created a designer residency program, which launched this year with Chloe Gosselin.
Marina Larroudé said of the concept in 2024 in an interview with FN, “We are now calling it, let’s say, residency, because we can have an ongoing collection for Markarian. It’s no longer one drop here and there — and the same thing with Altuzarra, or the same thing with Jonathan Cohen. We are launching new footwear brands within the Larroudé umbrella. And that’s where we see the business evolving. We hope to have 10, 12 brands under the fold by the end of 2025.”
