According to the FBI and local police, the real gunman, who shot Charlie Kirk, is still out there. After Charlie’s killing, US President, Donald Trump mourned the death of his key influencer, calling him “Great, and even legendary”. Not only this, but Trump ordered US flags flown at half-staff. Despite his comment, “America is full” to Indian immigrants, Indians are still outraged over gun violence and expressed concern for his wife, Erika Frantzve and their children, a daughter (Sarah Rose) and a son.
Charlie Kirk’s assassination: Fox News star, Laura Ingraham is trending for criticising Gen Z for prioritising career over marriage and kids

Amidst all the chaos around Charlie Kirk’s death and the investigation going on, Fox News star, Laura Ingraham has also started trending on social media. For the unversed, the renowned American news presenter is a “Charlie Kirk supporter” who aligns with the late political activist’s ideology. The reason she is trending at the moment is because of a comment she made on September 9, 2025, a day before Charlie Kirk’s death, on her iconic show, The Ingraham Angle.
NBC News conducted a poll in which they asked men aged 18 to 29 to rank their life priorities (career, marriage, and children). While it was a simple data-oriented poll, Laura allegedly twisted it into a conservative narrative, stating that Gen Z are putting career over marriage and having kids. She said, “Gen Z men who voted for Kamala? Well, they ranked having children at number nine, getting married at number 10. It’s even worse with female Gen Z Kamala voters. Being married at 11, way down in the list for them. Having kids, well, that’s ranked way down at number 12” Not only this, she lauded conservative men who ranked “having children” at number one. Calling it the true definition of success, she said:
“Conservative men seem to still have their priorities straight because a new poll from NBC News shows that men ages 18 to 29 who voted for Trump ranked having children number one priority, the definition of success. Being married came in number four.”
Fox News anchor, Laura Ingraham’s ironical truth that doesn’t align with Charlie Kirk’s conservative ideology: Adopted three children in her 40s and never been married
Famous American conservative television presenter, Laura Ingraham, is also the editor-in-chief of LifeZette and is considered one of the most recognised media personalities in the US. As a result, when she quoted Charlie Kirk’s famous line, “Having children is more important than having a good career… you can always go back to your career later”, while criticising Gen Z, the internet was quick to highlight her ironic truth. For the uninitiated, Laura has never been married, and after reaching the pinnacle of her media career, she decided to adopt three kids in her 40s.
Netizens found it amusing and ironic that Laura Ingraham, who has always prioritised her career, is criticising young people (especially Gen Z) for following in her footsteps. Another interesting irony that internet users highlighted is that Laura’s decision to start a family via adoption goes against the narrative of traditional marriage. Courtesy of all these ironic angles, Laura is facing a lot of heat on the internet for preaching Gen Z about marriage and kids.
