Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead, Dacoit is one of the most anticipated pan-India action dramas of the year, promising not just high-octane thrills but also a deeply emotional cinematic journey.
At its core, the film follows the story of a convict whose life is consumed by anger and vengeance after a heartbreaking betrayal at the hands of his ex-girlfriend. What begins as a personal vendetta soon evolves into a larger-than-life confrontation, blending raw action with moments of intense emotional conflict.
As the protagonist carefully sets his plan in motion to face the woman who wronged him, the narrative delves into universal themes of love, betrayal, sacrifice, and retribution, while keeping audiences hooked with unexpected twists and powerful performances. With a blend of gripping storytelling, stunning visuals, and soulful music, Dacoit aims to strike a balance between adrenaline-fueled entertainment and a poignant exploration of human emotions.
Dacoit, directed by Shaneil Deo in his debut venture, is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. The film is being made in both Hindi and Telugu, with the story and screenplay written by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Filming is currently taking place in Hyderabad, with the next schedule planned in Maharashtra. The film is expected to release across India on Christmas 2025.
