Ather is one manufacturer that simply doesn’t stop innovating—or shall I say, reinventing. The recent launch of Ather Stack 6 is a testament to that spirit, and our new scooter now comes equipped with it. The features it offers are quite a mixed bag. Some may find them incredibly useful, while others might see them as unnecessary. Personally, as someone who likes to stay connected, I find several of these additions quite handy. One of my favourite features is the call decline with message function. It’s a simple yet effective tool that lets callers know I’m currently unavailable, a great touch for staying considerate while on the move. On the flip side, the WhatsApp notifications can be a bit distracting. The moment a message pops up, curiosity takes over, and I often find myself stopping to check it. It’s not something I prefer using while riding.

Then there are other features, like pinging the scooter to locate it. I haven’t tested this fully yet, especially in tricky locations like basement parking lots where connectivity can be patchy. I’m curious to see how well it works there. As for the ride experience, our Ather 450X continues to clock kilometres effortlessly. Most impressive is the accuracy of its range predictions, the displayed estimate is consistently spot-on, which is honestly quite impressive. A quick shoutout also to the Ather charging network. The widespread availability of functional chargers means range anxiety is a non-issue. Every time I’ve looked for a charger nearby, I’ve found one in perfect working condition. Just brilliant.
