Chris Brown is back in cuffs.
The “Under the Influence” singer was arrested early Thursday morning in Manchester, England, for allegedly hitting music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle at a London nightclub in 2023.
The Metropolitan Police told the Sun that Brown, 36, was detained at the five-star Lowry Hotel on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
“He has been taken into custody, where he remains,” the police force said.
“The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on Feb. 19, 2023. The investigation is being led by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit.”
Page Six has reached out to Brown’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
In October 2023, Diaw filed a lawsuit against Brown, claiming the “New Flame” crooner had assaulted him eight months prior.
The producer alleged Brown “inflicted severe and lasting injuries” on him after “beating him over the head” with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 in February 2023 at the Tape London nightclub.
The two-time Grammy winner then allegedly proceeded to “ruthlessly stomp on” Diaw and kick him in the back of the neck, knocking him unconscious for 30 seconds.
In his suit, Diaw claimed the “crushing blows” sent him to the hospital with “lacerations on his head and torn ligaments in his leg.”
The music executive also claimed in the filing that Brown had partaken in “defamatory conduct by spreading false rumors” about him and his clients after the incident, including calling him a thief in order to hurt his professional relationships.
The pop star has had several run-ins with the law over the course of his 20-year career.
In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault for brutally beating his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.
And in 2017, the “No Guidance” singer’s ex Karrueche Tran was granted a five-year restraining order against him.
Brown allegedly became aggressive toward the “Claws” alum, 36, for not returning money and gifts he had given her during their relationship.
