Special Ops 2: teaser review and release date
Special Ops season one followed the story of Kay Kay Menon as ‘Himmat Singh’ who is a member of RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) which is popularly known for being India’s impressive Intelligence services. ‘Himmat Singh’ formed a team of five agents in the first season to find out the head of a terrorist group who led a series of terror attacks in the country. Although, we didn’t get a clear hint about the plot of a new season in the teaser, the relentless action and long pursuit hint that Special Ops 2 will have a much more intense plot. It has to be noted that the makers haven’t revealed the exact release date of the show, it can release within a month based on the previous pattern of the show’s release.

A few months ago, Neeraj Pandey sat down for a conversation with Pinkvilla and revealed some exciting details about Special Ops 2. He shared that they have shot the show all over the world including places in Budapest, Turkey and Georgia for offering a more grand experience to viewers. On the other hand, Kay Kay Menon shared his excitement on returning as ‘Himmat Singh’ to the new season and said:
“Himmat Singh is a character that has resonated deeply with audiences. Returning to this role is both a challenge and a privilege. In Special Ops season 2, viewers will witness new facets of Himmat’s journey – his vulnerabilities, his grit, and the weight of choices he’s made. It’s a powerful script, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
