Kristin Cabot’s marriage with Boston’s wealthiest family scion, Andrew, was rocky when the Coldplay Kiss cam happened. Andrew was on a business trip when Kristin was caught in the scandal with her boss. Now, Andrew’s ex-wife, Julia Cabot reacted to his divorce in an interview with The Daily Mail and said:
“He’s not a nice person. Now something not nice has happened to him. That’s why after it happened, I got loads of texts from people with that word: karma. It was like: what you give, you get. Personally I don’t think he’s affected by what happened at all. I don’t think his feelings are hurt. He’s probably embarrassed, if anything.”

They are simply showing the world that their marriage was on the rocks to save face after the viral scandal.

The Coldplay kiss-cam scandal recap
During Coldplay’s concert on July 16, 2025, in Boston, the band followed their ‘kiss cam’ to interact with the audience. And suddenly, the camera zoomed in on the couple who were seen cuddling and sharing a cosy moment at the concert. The band’s frontman, Chris Martin, playfully commented:
“Oh, look at these two… either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
The couple in question was Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s HR representative. As soon as the couple was caught on camera, they immediately tried to hide themselves, which was seen on the big screen. It was definitely one of the most uncomfortable moments, and netizens shared their views on the viral clip. Some criticised Andy and Kristin, while others raised concerns about how people’s private lives have become a public spectacle.
Amid the fiasco, a report claimed that Andy Byron was considering a legal route and would sue Coldplay for the emotional distress he underwent after the scandal. A source told Page Six that Andy Byron felt his privacy had been invaded. The source further revealed that Byron didn’t give consent to be recorded on camera, which led to him facing significant public humiliation.
