Ducati India has introduced the 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S, bringing in major updates that enhance comfort, efficiency, safety, and overall performance. Positioned as the ultimate luxury adventure tourer, the new Multistrada range offers advanced electronic rider aids, improved passenger comfort, and a redesigned, sportier look inspired by Ducati’s superbike lineage.
Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, said, “The launch of the 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S marks a new chapter for luxury adventure touring in India. The range embodies Italian craftsmanship at its best, combining refined design, cutting-edge technology, and unmatched performance for discerning riders. With the 2025 updates, the Multistrada delivers an elevated riding experience that blends sophistication, rider aids, and power like never before.”
Refined performance and improved efficiency
The new Multistrada V4 is powered by Ducati’s 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing 170bhp at 10,750rpm and 123.8Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. The extended cylinder deactivation technology reduces fuel consumption by up to 6%, enhancing riding range while lowering emissions. The engine retains Ducati’s long maintenance intervals – valve clearance checks at 60,000 km and oil service every 15,000 km or 24 months.
Complementing the engine is a lightweight aluminium monocoque frame, repositioned swingarm pivot for better stability under load, and a double-sided aluminium swingarm. On the V4 S, the updated Marzocchi Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO features predictive bump detection and an extended preload range, while the automatic lowering device reduces seat height by up to 30mm at low speeds, improving manageability.
Technology and rider aids
The Multistrada V4 S now features forward collision warning (FCW) along with adaptive cruise control (ACC) and blind spot detection (BSD). The updated Ducati Brake Light system activates hazard indicators during emergency braking, improving visibility for vehicles behind.
Other highlights include three levels of engine brake control (EBC), Ducati vehicle observer (DVO) which is a MotoGP-derived electronic system that refines ABS cornering, wheelie control, and traction control and a new rear-to-front combined braking strategy. The V4 also features an optimized LED headlight cluster with Cornering Lights, improved night visibility, and a Coming Home function that keeps the beam on briefly after shutdown.
The 6.5-inch TFT display gets an updated user interface, with better suspension controls, integrated Ducati Connect app for navigation, music, and calls, and more intuitive heated grip and seat adjustment.
Passenger comfort and versatility
For long-distance touring, Ducati has improved pillion comfort by repositioning panniers and the top case to provide more legroom. A new die-cast aluminium mount offers greater support and stability. Multiple seat options for both rider and passenger allow for customization based on preference.
Riders can now choose from five Riding Modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and the newly introduced Wet mode. The evolved Enduro mode limits power to 114bhp, adjusts traction and wheelie control, and disables rear ABS for better off-road control.
Distinctive Ducati design
The 2025 Multistrada V4 gets a sharper, more aggressive front end, borrowing styling cues from the Panigale V4. The redesigned headlight cluster is framed by new painted elements reminiscent of Ducati icons like the 916 and 1098. A sharper silencer design with a distinctive exhaust note further emphasizes its sporting DNA.
