Other rules have been followed to the letter by the AMC’s zombie franchise, and that is, if there are zombies in any significant number, our veteran heroes will be taken aback by the ‘random’ appearance, despite their years of experience (literally). Even though our beloved leads have been dealing with the apocalypse for ages, they will be overtaken by it even after the said zombie is very slow and far away. Sometimes it will occur after one of these rather noisy undead creatures sneaks up on our hero.
