Zara Larsson stepped out in jeweled Rene Caovilla strappy sandals for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. The event, which is being held at UBS Arena in New York on Sunday, is bringing out music’s biggest stars, and it marks the end of the summer. The Swedish singer is keeping the vibrant energy of the warmer months alive, and paired a floral look with the designer’s Margot sandals in a bright orange hue.

Similar to the Caovilla Cleo sandals, the Margot style is characterized by the wrap-around design that climbs up the wearer’s ankle. What sets the two styles apart is that while the Margot also features the signature crystal-embellished snake, it starts off at the bottom of the shoe’s heel and wraps around it. It then continues up toward the foot, before wrapping around the ankle, and it’s finished with a serpent hardware.

Larsson’s shoes are made from a satin material and feature a rounded toe and a stiletto heel with a height measuring four inches. It also features two additional crystal-embellished straps across the upper holding the foot in place. The heel sparkles on the foot thanks to the hand-applied rhinestones.

As with all Caovilla designs, the shoe is finished with the designer’s signature stardust sole that adds even more shimmer to the look. The orange color the singer wore is from a previous collection. The Margo is currently available in a range of shades, including nude, ivory, white, black with gold, burgundy, and more, as part of the brand’s Fall 2025 collection. The popular style retails for $1,850 on the brand’s website and is also available in a shorter heel height and with a platform.

The eye-catching heels paired well with the rest of Larsson’s VMA look. She wore a completely sheer mini dress in a light blue fabric that was embellished with purple, blue, yellow, and orange floral appliqués in the front and beaded throughout the front and back of the frock. She decorated her blond and orange hair with a matching flower in yellow and red.
