Cardi B is one of the most famous American rappers known worldwide. She holds various awards and rewards among women rappers in hip hop. Not only this, but she also holds the record for the most number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and is the only female rapper to achieve multiple solo number ones. However, after the very public court appearance, the rapper is now in talks because of the pregnancy rumours and has decided to react to the same.
Cardi B reacts to the pregnancy buzz
Cardi B first sparked pregnancy rumours when she shared a video of herself rapping to her latest single, Imaginary Playerz, in a black bodysuit. The rapper further fueled the speculations when she appeared for the trial in oversized attire and seemed to be strategically covering her midsection with her hand. However, no rumours are hidden from the rapper, and she addressed the same during an Instagram live.
Cardi B took to her Instagram and went live to interact with her fans. However, when she was asked about the pregnancy rumours, she sternly denied them. Cardi responded to a fan who speculated she was pregnant because she seemed out of breath. Cardi was quoted as saying:
“‘Look, 30 weeks pregnant?’ No, you stupid b**ch. I’m just f**k out of breath ’cause I have asthma… Stop f**king being f**king funny in this b**ch before you get motherf**king blocked, b**ch. Stupid a** comment, don’t put that shit on me, b**ch.”
While her response on the Instagram live confirmed that she wasn’t expecting another child, her social media activity hours later fueled the buzz once again. Hours after the live stream ended, Candi shared a tweet in which she cast doubt on whether she was being truthful. She wrote on X, along with a GIF of Tokyo Toni raising her eyebrows, “But AM I?”.

Cardi B’s court case
Cardi B found herself in rough waters after Emani Ellis, the security guard, went on to claim that Cardi B assaulted and left him emotionally distressed in the lawsuit filed in 2020. She shared that Cardi B physically attacked her and cut her face with her three-inch nail, and then spat on her, leaving her deeply traumatised. Later, during a cross-examination, Cardi B’s attorney, Peter J Anderson, went on to grill Ellis over her inconsistent remarks.
Peter claimed that Ellis was the aggressor, and a screaming match happened between Cardi B and Ellis. However, Cardi B never touched the security guard. According to Anderson, Cardi B feared for her unborn child as it was her first pregnancy and a huge woman was charging towards her. As a result, she was left confused, wondering if a security guard could be an attacker.
