Actor Viineet Kumar Siingh turned a year older on August 24. This birthday has been special for him as it’s his first birthday after he became a father to a son. Viineet spoke about his special day and his career in an interview with us.

My birthday of 2025 is actually very special because 24th August is my birthday, but I am also celebrating this birthday as a father. And it is a coincidence, the amazing thing is that a month of my son has also been completed on 24th August. So, we also celebrated his one month together. And as a father, there are a lot of amazing feelings when I see my child sleeping, when I see him taking a bath or when I play with him. So, every moment is very beautiful. When I see my son in the lap of my wife Ruchira and the way they are playing with each other, everything is very beautiful, sir.
Vineet, why does the internet say your birthday is on 28 August when it is actually on 24 August?
Thank you so much for asking this question. Actually, my birthday is on 24th of August and that’s why we celebrated my birthday on 24th of August. But due to the internet, this confusion is happening because there, I am also seeing, 28th of August is written. Now, who wrote this? I myself have no idea. Not just birthday date, in fact, there is so much information there which is not correct. So, this is randomly, I think, people have updated many things. I will check with someone how these things can be fixed. But again, thank you so much for asking this question. And yes, my birthday is on 24th of August.
Your earliest birthday memories?
In my earliest memories of my birthday, first of all, I remember my mother’s face. She is no more with us. And I remember, on every birthday, we used to take a resolution that one thing which you will leave and one thing which you will not do. So, in front of so many people, that resolution was taken and full effort was made to do that. And because of that, there were many bad habits that I’ve left behind. Because of that, a sense of discipline came into my life. So, all those memories are very, very special. Today, when I am in such a big city in Mumbai, so many of those memories of my father and mother are with me today, which give me courage.
2025 has given you lots to celebrate
Yes, 2025 has given me a lot, which I should celebrate and I am celebrating it. The biggest thing is that I have become a father, so the joy of becoming a father is different and it is very special. Apart from that, five releases have been released this year, including Chhaava, Superboys Of Malegaon, Match Fixing, Jaat and Rangeen. So, I have also got four theatrical releases. I have also got the release of OTT, Rangeen, which is on Amazon Prime. And I got a chance to work in different ways. And the identity, the love which I am getting in 2025, every actor wants such a phase to come in his life and I am very grateful.
Success has come belatedly to you
Der aaye durust aaye… Thank you so much to all the audience and all those people who believed in me. This success is not mine, this success is theirs, who trusted me, who like my work, who have given me courage for a long time and I am so grateful. So, whatever success is, whatever things are happening, they are very special and it is not just my success, I think it is the success of all those people, it is the celebration of all those who believed in me.
