Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged! Or, as they put it in a joint Instagram post today: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Swift wore a black and white striped Ralph Lauren halter dress and a gold and diamond-encrusted Cartier Santos Demoiselle Quartz watch for her flower-filled engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. But, unsurprisingly, our eyes were trained on her ring.
Kelce popped the question with a round brilliant-cut old mine diamond bezel-set in gold. He worked with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry to design the ring. The sides of the band featured filigree detail work. Clearly, there was no need to sacrifice any of the four C’s: the colorless diamond took up much of her left ring finger’s real estate.
