The first taste of this epic universe comes in the form of their sci-fi fantasy novel, MAYA: Seed Takes Root, whose opening chapter has been narrated by none other than Hollywood legend Hugo Weaving, famed for his iconic roles in The Matrix and The Lord of the Rings. The creators shared a sneak peek video of the narration on social media, calling the experience “a dream come true.”

MAYA: Seed Takes Root is the first novel from this ever-expanding world of stories,” Anand Gandhi and Zain Memon wrote alongside the Instagram release.
