Kingdom, the action thriller starring Vijay Devarakonda, has become the second most successful film of his career. The film’s worldwide collection is Rs. 82 crore. Now that the action-packed film has made a pretty good number at the box office, the movie is all set to make its OTT release. Kingdom features Vijay as ‘Suri’, who is an undercover agent. The IMDb rating of Kingdom is 5.9 out of 10, and it got a 3.5 rating from TOI. Ever since the film hit the big screens, Vijay’s presence and the overall coordination have left the audience in a frenzy. Calling the film a massive comeback for Vijay, an X user wrote, “#KingdomReview: An excellent first half. Boat sequence #VijayDevarakonda performance. Ani BGM, Gowtam direction and screenplay. I’ve been waiting for it since I heard the name Gowtham Thinnanuri. The hype lived up to my expectations until I watched the film. It wasn’t outright bad, but I expected more. VD was good. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is a Telugu spy action thriller that stars Vijay Deverakonda as ‘Suri’, a spy who is on a dangerous mission to Sri Lanka in search of his missing brother, ‘Siva’ (Satyadev). His journey takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with ‘Murugan’ (Venkitesh), son of cartel leader ‘Odiyappan’ (Baburaj), complicating the mission.
Along the way, ‘Dr. Madhu’ (Bhagyashri) came to his assistance and gradually fell in love with him. The action thriller is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
