Recently, at an event, Avneet Kaur was quizzed about what she would reply to the celebrities who like her post on social media. The question was hinted at Virat Kohli’s accidental like on her social media post, which turned into a major controversy. Avneet was seen blushing, and she expressed that she should keep receiving such love. She said:
“Milta rahe pyaar bas. Aur kya kahun main.”
Earlier, Avneet chose not to pay any heed to the whole controversy around Virat Kohli’s liking of her picture. In fact, she tried to maintain a dignified silence, and simply blushed at the photographer and folded her hands.
Avneet Kaur and Virat Kohli ‘like’ controversy
For the unversed, Avneet Kaur made headlines a while ago after former Team India captain, Virat Kohli, liked her picture, which was shared by one of her fan pages. The news spread like wildfire, and people tried making fun of Virat for liking Avneet’s photos. Another section of people claimed trouble between him and Anushka. However, to end the speculations, Virat immediately issued a statement and called it a technological glitch while clearing up the space. He wrote:
“I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding.”
Not only this, after a few days, a video was shared by Filmfare, wherein Virat was standing out of the car in a casual ensemble. He was waiting for Anushka, who was in the car, and gave her a hand as she got out of the vehicle. However, instead of taking the hand, Anushka moved past him, leaving Virat a bit conscious. It was the first time that we saw the power couple in an uncomfortable position. But later, they dismissed the buzz with their joint appearances and lovey-dovey posts on Instagram.
