Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has been announced as the new brand ambassador for Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., the joint venture between Yakult Honsha of Japan and Groupe Danone of France. The company revealed its ambitious goal of achieving double-digit growth every year until 2030, underlining India’s growing importance in the global probiotic drinks market.

Since entering India in 2008, Yakult has expanded to nearly 700 cities, pioneering the probiotic dairy drink category and creating awareness around gut health. With Indians increasingly choosing healthier food and beverage options, Yakult sees strong potential for growth.
Speaking about her association, Taapsee Pannu said, “I’m really happy to be part of Yakult’s journey in promoting good gut health.
