Williams modeled Saint Laurent’s Dune slingbacks, a style marked by a few key elements, including a square vamp, a pointed toe, a sculptural flared heel and a relatively thick slingback strap adorned with a rectangular tortoiseshell buckle. Showcased as part of Saint Laurent’s spring 2024 show, the Dune slingback style has been worn by other celebrities like Zoë Kravitz, who is an ambassador for the brand.
The glossy material of the shoes stood out against Williams’ black and white-accented dress which came from Valentino’s fall 2025 collection “Le Méta-Théâtre Des Intimités” designed by creative director Alessandro Michele. The long-sleeve, button-down garment featured a shiny white collar and cuffs in addition to a black oversize silky bow at the chest.

Whether it’s Jessica Alba wearing a kitten heel version from Manolo Blahnik or Caitlin Clark showcasing a block heel iteration from Prada, slingback pumps have remained relevant this year. Collections from a range of brands continue to showcase the longstanding style; Steve Madden, for example, presented slingbacks in its fall 2025 campaign “Everyone Has Something to Say About Shoes.” Involving a more revealing silhouette than the classic pump, the slingback style offers a sultry edge and allows for all kinds of reinvention by designers.
