India’s ace spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal and his former wife, Dhanashee Verma’s divorce grabbed a lot of limelight in 2025. The actress and choreographer who met Yuzi during the lockdown remained silent for the longest time about her divorce phase. She recently revealed how her 5-year-long marriage took a toll on her health. Now, amid all this, Yuzi shared his first post after his ex-wife, Dhanashree, took a dig at his ‘Be Your Own Sugar Daddy’ t-shirt and explained her stand.

Yuzi had earlier come on the Raj Shamani podcast and spoken about his separation from Dhanashree. Now, she, in an emotional interview, revealed how her five-year-old marriage affected her. Amid this, Yuzi posted three pictures from what looked like a picturesque, hilly lake location. He was seen spreading his arms, sitting on the rocks, looking at the lake, and what looked like experiencing freedom amid the lap of Mother Nature. Yuzi captioned the three snaps as:
“Million feelings, Zero words.”

Dhanashree recently revealed how she cried and howled when the verdict related to her divorce was announced, and it was an extremely heavy moment for her. A user seeing the snaps of Yuzi amid the lap of nature wrote, “Chill bhai comeback kab hoga.” Another Yuzvendra fan shared, “Koi nhi bhai 2026 world cup coming.” Another user told Yuzvendra, “WhatsApp kar dete t-shirt pe kyo likhwaya”, referring to Dhanashree’s comment. Others also spoke about the possibility that Yuzi’s snaps were taken by RJ Mahvash.
The snaps taken by Yuzvendra were reportedly from Kirkstone Pass, located in England. He was lost in deep thought, gazing out at the mountains. His caption was all things cryptic as it spoke about how, in his mind, he had a million things to tell but had no words to express.

Dhanashree recently sat down for an interview with the Humans Of Bombay and revealed the emotional weight she had carried for five years and how it ended with her separation from Yuzi. Dhanashree did not know about Yuzi wearing a ‘Be Your Own Sugar Daddy’ t-shirt. She went point-blank blank expressing what she felt and shared:
“It was very emotional for me and my family. I still remember when I was standing there and the verdict was about to be given, even though you are so mentally prepared that it is going to happen, it was still so emotional. I literally started howling and crying in front of everybody. I cannot even express what I was feeling at that point of time.”
Dhanashree also shared that she avoided the media frenzy and took the back gate from the Bandra Family Court, as she did not want to face the cameras waiting to get her papped. Dhanashree did not expect Yuzi to wear such a sarcastic t-shirt and remembered how she was trying to catch her breath. Speaking on his sarcastic t-shirt, she shared:
“I sat in the car, my best friend was there with me, and we were still trying to grasp our breath. It was that shaky moment, especially when you know people will blame you only. Are bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kyu pehna hai?”
