Halle Bailey leaned into the office siren trend by pairing sleek Santoni mules with a halter-neck dress. The singer attended the Nick Jonas and Fossil Present: Fossil Dinner at Soho Diner on Tuesday in New York, which celebrated the release of his new Machine Luxe watch collection.

Bailey, who is also a Fossil partner, slid on a pair of Santoni‘s Serpentine asymmetrical sandals in black leather, which added a sleekness to her sharp office-ready look. The high-heel sandal is currently available on the Santoni website for $1,040.

Santoni’s Serpentine sandals are crafted from supple leather with an elegant, thin napa leather cord design, which is also featured on the brand’s Serpenti slingback sandals. The mules feature a wide strap that wraps around the foot on one side.

Unlike traditional mules, which feature just one strap across the toes, the Santoni shoe’s wide strap continues to rise on the inner side of the foot, encasing the foot for added support. The almond-toe sandals are finished with a leg-lengthening stiletto heel, measuring four inches.

Bailey’s stylist Nichole Goodman coordinated the black sandals with a black leather Gucci Horsebit sandal and the black buttons on the “Little Mermaid” star’s dress. The beige minidress was tailored by The Zaks Team and featured a halter neck vest, sleeveless design paired with a short-sleeved blazer. The shorter hemline on the dress allowed for the shoes to shine.

While the asymmetrical mule design made the shoes a standout, Bailey’s sandals popped thanks to the trademark Santoni orange hued soles. 2025 has been a strong year for Santoni as the shoes have been spotted on countless celebrities so far this year, from Selena Gomez to Anna Kendrick, as well as Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, who wore a few custom-made designs from the Italian luxury footwear brand during her “Cowboy Carter” tour this summer.

Santoni recently opened a new store on New York’s Madison Avenue, after a successful 2024, with sales increasing 7 percent globally, with sales in the U.S. increasing 18 percent for the year. “Much of our growth in the U.S. comes from our continued expansion into women’s shoes and bags,” executive chairman Giuseppe Santoni told FN in March. “Looking ahead, we will keep focusing on these categories, as well as our small leather goods and accessories as we aim to keep growing.”
