Brandon Blackstock’s pregnant daughter is breaking her silence on losing “a piece of [her] heart.”
Nearly two weeks after the late talent agent’s death at age 48, Savannah honored him with a heart-wrenching Instagram tribute.
“My daddy never fell short of making my dreams come true,” the 23-year-old began her lengthy social media upload on Tuesday. “No matter how high or how far, he made a way.”
She clarified, “Not only did he make my dreams come true, he chased them with me. Worldwide he was there, my biggest cheerleader. He is my best friend, my voice of reason, and my favorite phone call every day.”
Savannah went on to write that her relationship with Blackstock shifted over the past six months as he “sought the Lord.”
She recalled, “He was hungry for the word and we did it together. … 12 days ago he blessed me the most valuable gift I could’ve asked for. The gift of knowing where he is today, in Heaven with our Savior.”
After calling Blackstock her “favorite cowboy,” Savannah noted, “Heaven gained an angel. I’m so thankful for the time I did have and I can’t wait for eternity. I love you daddy and I will miss you indefinitely.
“Enjoy your ranch up there, God designed it with your heart’s desires in mind,” she concluded.
Savannah led her tribute with a photo of herself posing with Blackstock on her wedding day to husband Quentin Lee, followed by sweet snaps of the duo with her 3-year-old son, Luke.
The real estate agent married Lee in September 2023, one year after the couple welcomed their baby boy.
Last month, Savannah shared with her Instagram followers the news of her expanding family, having kept “a couple sweet surprises” under wraps.
“One little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January and another beautiful girl named Julianna … has already been one of the greatest blessings to our family,” she gushed in the July announcement.
News of Blackstock’s death broke the next month following his years-long battle with skin cancer.
Savannah’s mom, Melissa Ashworth, honored the businessman days later, writing that Blackstock was “hands down, the best Daddy and Pa.”
The former couple were married from 2001 to 2012 and also welcomed son Seth, now 18, during their time together.
The teen called his dad “hero” in a touching post of his own.
Blackstock was also the father of daughter River, 11, and son Remington, 9, with ex-wife Kelly Clarkson, whom he split from in 2020.
His online obituary revealed that he moved on with his “soulmate” — and Clarkson’s ex-assistant — Brittney Marie Jones post-divorce.
