    Ridhi Dogra is one of the most talented actresses in the Hindi film industry. She began her career as a co-producer at Zoom, and then she moved into dancing. Before making her presence on television, Ridhi was a dancer at the Shiamak Dawar Dance Institute. She is best known for her roles in Asur, and The Married Woman, among others. For the unversed, Ridhi got married to Raqesh Bapat in 2011, and in 2019, the couple parted ways. In an interview, the actress talked about losing track of her finances while being married, and finally having a strong grasp on the same after her divorce.

    While talking on Yuvva, Ridhi Dogra revealed that till the time she was married, she was the kind of a woman, who would feel everything was okay, and the expenses were on both she and her then-husband. The actress said that this is how she lost track of her finances eventually.

    Ridhi Dogra revealed that she was not sure where her money went actually and that it was her doing. The actress shared that the moment she took control and took charge of things, she got an investment advisor, who was a woman, and she asked her the same thing about finances again and again until she fully understood and clarified her doubts.

    Ridhi Dogra talks about focusing on her self-growth after her divorce

    Ridhi said that it’s okay that initially some things could not be cracked, but the moment one takes the decision that they need to take charge of their money, then that person needs to be unabashed in asking questions until and unless his/her doubts are cleared. She further added that she felt it to be empowering to live alone, and now she focuses more on self-growth, self-love, and rebuilding confidence, and at the same time, she maintains a cordial bond with her ex-husband.

    In an old interview with the ETimes, Ridhi Dogra talked about her life post divorce. The actress was asked if living in solitude during the Lockdown period came as a little tough to her. The actress said that after her divorce in 2019, she suddenly became all alone for that matter, as previously she had never lived alone. The actress stated that although she was married, she was always surrounded by her friends and even pets often, thus, she never lived alone like that, and after her divorce, she kind of had to live like that, and it somewhat prepared her for the Lockdown phase in itself.
