The Conjuring: Last Rites will be the fourth instalment in The Conjuring series, following The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Directed by Michael Chaves and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is set for release in September 2025, four years after the last part was released. The film follows the adventures of Ed and Lorraine Warren, the paranormal investigators who solve some of the world’s most haunting cases. The film can also be called a sister-sequel of the Annabelle and the Nun series.
The Conjuring: Last Rites will have special haunted merchandise
Theatres will be streaming The Conjuring: Last Rites from September 5, 2025, and horror enthusiasts cannot wait for it. To make the experience further engaging, the makers have announced special merchandise for the supposedly last film in The Conjuring series. Moviegoers will be able to see the haunted tale with a special popcorn bucket featuring the franchise’s famous haunted doll, Annabelle. Yes! You heard that right, the bucket will be available through Regal, Marcus and AMC theatres.
The Regal has unveiled the much-awaited haunted popcorn bucket, and you would not want it in your home. The creepy yet collectable item for The Conjuring fans is the exact replica of the porcelain Annabelle from the film series. The cinema chain shared the picture of the haunted bucket on their social media handles, and it has an eerie feel to it. The merch features Annabelle holding a massive popcorn bucket with The Conjuring: Last Rites written on it in the film’s original font.
The dull colours and the creepy features of Annabelle have been created to make the experience further haunting. The Conjuring: Last Rites popcorn bucket is already available on the Marcus Theatre’s website for 44.99 US dollars. The bucket will be sold at the Regal theatres from August 20, 2025, and will soon be available for purchase at AMC theatres as well.

Michael Chaves on the addition of Annabelle to The Conjuring: Last Rites
The Conjuring: Last Rites is based on a real-life case known as the Smurl Haunting. However, the maker’s decision to include Annabelle in the film came as a surprise to the viewers. Director of the film, Michael Chaves, addressed the same and revealed that it wouldn’t have made any sense to end the franchise without her. He shared that the film would feel incomplete without it as the ruggedy doll is like a mascot for the franchise. Nonetheless, it has also led fans to wonder if there will be a Nun popcorn bucket in the future. Michael was quoted as saying:
“It would be a mistake to do this final movie without some element of Annabelle. The doll is ‘almost the mascot of The Conjuring franchise.'”
