Three years ago, Shalini Pandey made her Bollywood debut with Jayeshbhai Jordaar — a Yash Raj film that starred her opposite Ranveer Singh. Before this break, Shalini had already carved a niche for herself in the South with her role as Preethi in the Telugu cult hit Arjun Reddy.

From playing the girl-next-door in Jayeshbhai Jordaar to her role in Maharaj opposite Junaid Khan, Shalini Pandey has taken on varied characters.
In Dabba Cartel, a gritty ensemble drama, she played a central role. Amid a strong cast, Shalini brought intensity and emotional depth to her performance.
As her Hindi debut Jayeshbhai Jordaar turned 3 today, Shalini Pandey took to Instagram and shared: “Three years ago, Jayeshbhai Jordaar became my first step into the Hindi Film Industry:) a dream I’d carried (not so quietly) for years (rainbow emoji). It came true with the magic of Yash Raj, the wild brilliance of @ranveersingh , the sheer faith of Adi sir and my amazing director who always believed in my instincts @divyangt (smile emoji). I was nervous, wide-eyed, and full of feeling and they let me grow, stumble, fly.”
She added, “A quiet thank you to @shanoosharmarahihai for seeing me at a cafe and changing everything. (red heart and smile emoji). To the team that held my hand, and the audience that held my heart (red heart emoji) thank you! To the entire team of Jayeshbhai thankyou guys (pink heart emoji). That was the beginning. Her upcoming projects include Bandwaale (an Amazon Prime original) and Raahu Ketu with Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma.
