New York City-based women’s contemporary brand Ramy Brook is bringing its vision of head-to-toe dressing to life by breaking into the category, unveiling a shoe collection starring boots in various iterations.

“Designing the shoe collection is a natural extension for the brand. I’ve always wanted to outfit our customers in a head to toe Ramy Brook look. The shoe collection allows us to complete the look/do that,” said founder Ramy Brook in a statement.

Launching this September, the Portugal-crafted shoe collection makes use of leather and suede to present multiple boot silhouettes apt for a fall wardrobe. One dark brown knee-high style goes for a sleek look with shiny leather featuring a reptilian design at the top and bottom of the silhouette; this contrasts a more muted suede fabric along the shaft. Meanwhile, a modest kitten heel lifts up the set.

A similar material juxtaposition is applied to a second boot style, a black ankle-height option featuring black suede and leather accents, including a slender strap with a gold stud detail. Presenting a contrasting heel option to the other boots, this set is elevated by a tall block heel. Priced from $495 to $595, the upcoming collection can be found at ramybrook.com and at Ramy Brook stores.

Looking ahead, the brand wants to expand its footwear category by debuting sandals, heels and espadrilles. The company is projecting a 30 percent growth rate for 2026.

Sported by the likes of Taylor Swift, who stepped out last year in the brand’s plaid Derrick skirt, Ramy Brook is distinguished by its use of silks, vibrant colors and refined silhouettes. In terms of retail presence, the brand opened a New York City flagship at 980 Madison Avenue in 2019, where an event with LaChanze and Celia Rose Gooding took place in 2020 to benefit the nonprofit Black Theatre United. In addition to this Manhattan location, the women’s label opened a permanent storefront in Southampton, N.Y., in May 2023.

Footwear is just the latest branch to expand the Ramy Brook world. The brand broke into the activewear space in 2023 through a partnership with Wolven, and earlier that year started releasing childrenswear, including mommy-and-me matching options.
