Ola Electric has expanded its scooter lineup with the launch of the S1 Pro Sport, its sport-oriented offering. Priced at an introductory Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the scooter is available in both 5.2kWh and 4kWh battery pack options, powered by the new 4680 Bharat Cell. Deliveries are set to commence in January 2026.
The S1 Pro Sport marks Ola’s official entry into the sports scooter category, blending performance-oriented hardware with cutting-edge technology.
Design
The scooter stands out with redesigned bodywork, a carbon fibre front mudguard and grab rails, as well as aero wings and a sculpted windscreen for improved aerodynamics and downforce. A scooped rider seat with a raised pillion section gives it a racier profile, while subtle carbon fibre detailing underscores its premium positioning.
Performance and hardware upgrades
At its heart lies a 16kW in-house developed ferrite motor paired with a 5.2kWh battery pack, delivering an IDC range of up to 320 km. The S1 Pro Sport claims a top speed of 152kmph, with 0–40kmph acceleration in just 2.0 seconds.
To complement this performance, the scooter gets 14-inch alloy wheels with wider tyres, retuned telescopic forks, and a gas-charged rear suspension, all designed to enhance stability, grip, and rider confidence. The addition of traction control with Rain, Urban, and Track modes ensures adaptability across conditions.
MoveOS 6 and ADAS
Ola’s latest MoveOS 6 debuts on the S1 Pro Sport, introducing ADAS capabilities such as adaptive cruise control, front collision warning, and lane departure warning. A front camera enables ride recording and live vlogging, adding a unique lifestyle element to the package.
Pricing
The Ola S1 Pro Sport is being offered at a launch price of Rs 1,49,999 (ex-showroom). Pre-bookings are now open, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2026.
