War 2 Box Office: Film has an ordinary Sunday :Bollywood Box Office – Bollywood Hungama

The smallest of the films, ether accepted or rejected, see some sort of a growth from Friday to Sunday. The biggest of the films too manage to create at least some momentum when they move ahead over the weekend. However, in case of War 2 (Hindi), it has turned out to be a rather disappointing run. The only time when there was some spark seen was on Friday (Rs. 46 crores) when the film moved really ahead of the first day (Rs. 29 crores). However ever since then it has been downhill.

First it came down to Rs. 27 crores on Saturday but all fears came true on Sunday when there was negligible growth. The collections came to just Rs. 28 crores, something that was certainly not on the cards.

So far, the film has collected 130 crores and today it will very likely enter single digits. It has to be seen how much deeper does it manage to take the collections now but rest assured, the weekdays won’t contribute more than Rs. 25-30 crores, which means the best-case scenario for the Hrithik Roshan and NTR starrer would be to somehow manage to cross Rs. 150 crores mark by the end of extended Week One.
