Elvish Yadav is busy fulfilling all his dreams in the city of Mumbai, but his family still stays in Gurgram. And on August 17, 2025, three masked men opened fire outside his residence. The recent incident has scared everyone, as after Salman Khan, Kapil Sharma, and Sidhu Moosewala’s homes were targeted, it was Elvish Yadav’s home that came into the radar of attackers.
Elvish Yadav’s house was attacked by three men who opened fire
According to reports, unidentified assailants at around 5:30 in the morning of August 17, 2025, opened fire outside Elvish Yadav’s residence. According to police, three bike-borne men shot more than two dozen rounds of fire at Elvish Yadav’s home in Sector 57, Gurugram. Currently, they are on the run. The bullets were shot at the ground and the first floor of his home.
The PRO of Gurugram Police, Sandeep Kumar, revealed that Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing. He was currently outside Haryana. Elvish resides on the second and third floors of the building. His family members were at home when the incident took place. However, no one was injured in the gunfire. The police said:
“Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram’s Sector 57. The incident took place at around 5:30 AM. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing.”
According to Elvish Yadav’s relatives, the incident came as a shock, as he had not received any threats prior to it. Police quickly arrived at the spot and initiated investigations of collecting forensic samples and checking CCTV footage from the locality. Legal proceedings, along with detailed investigations, will start after the family files a formal complaint.
Elvish Yadav’s father’s first statement on the attack
In the first official statement from the family, Elvish Yadav’s father, Ram Avtar Yadav revealed that the incident happened around 5:30-6 a.m. and they were all sleeping at that time. He further added that 25-30 bullets were shot at their home. He said:
“Andaaza 25-30 goliyaan chali hongi.”
He further revealed that his son, Elvish, was not present in the house when the incident happened as he was out of Haryana due to his work commitments. His father also revealed that there was no warning or threat. Talking about the attackers, Ram Avtar Yadav said:
“We could see three men outside our house in the CCTV footage. One was standing ahead with his bike, while there were two who were outside our gate and fired the rounds.”

Meanwhile, Elvish has not yet shared any official statement regarding the gunshots at his home.
