A jeep driver ran over a man in an act of aggression following a dispute over car collision in Jaipur. The incident took place in Murlipura area on Saturday.

According to initial reports, a Scorpio jeep collided with a car, following which the man driving the Scorpio allegedly got out and smashed the glass of the other vehicle. The altercation quickly drew a crowd, and bystanders began assaulting the Scorpio driver.

In an attempt to escape the growing crowd, the Scorpio driver allegedly drove the vehicle into the public, hitting multiple individuals in the process. Tragically, three men standing in front of the vehicle were struck. Among them was Shekhar, who fell in front of the car. Despite this, the driver did not stop and ran over him, eventually killing Shekharon the spot.

A CCTV video of the incident shows the Scorpio driver brutally running over Shekhar twice in order to move his car.

The incident created chaos in the locality. Upon receiving information, police from the Murlipura station arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination.

A case of unintentional murder has been registered against the accused.
