Sophie Turner recently made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. During her conversation, she hinted at her split with Joe while recalling shooting for her new movie, Trust, back in 2024. The 29-year-old actress admitted that behind the scenes, she was going through a ‘media hell’. Recalling how a new role in Trust gave her a ‘sense of relief’, Sophie said:
“I’m not sure if anyone’s aware, but when I started shooting this movie, I was going through, like, a media hell. So this was super cathartic because I wanted to run away in my real life when that was all happening. But I got to do it in a movie and I got to smash some s*** up, so that was fun.”
Sophie Turner didn’t directly mention Joe or their divorce, but the duo filed for divorce in September 2023, after four years of marriage, their bond was “irretrievably broken.” The news shocked fans and gave rise to multiple rumours behind the cause of their separation, including speculation that Sophie wanted to party rather than fulfil her duties as a mother went viral in the media. After a long chaos, Sophie and Joe reached a settlement agreement in September 2024, but kept its details private.
