The much-anticipated action thriller War 2 has taken Indian cinemas by storm, crossing Rs. 100 crores nett in just two days. Expressing happiness over the love being showered on the film, the lead superstars – Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR have penned messages of gratitude towards their fans by taking to social media.

For the unversed, according to reports, the film has performed well in Hindi markets and is also expected to have received love from audiences in other languages like Telugu and Tamil audiences. Hrithik Roshan expressed his gratitude to fans on X aka Twitter, saying, “In Kabir’s world, battles may be won.. but the war goes on. A character that came to life in 2019, has only fueled my fire as an Actor & Entertainer. Witnessing all your cheers & celebrations in cinema halls, only makes Kabir taller and my heart fuller. The script, penned by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala from an original story by Chopra, continues the YRF Spy Universe as the sixth installment in the franchise and the sequel to War (2019).
The story follows Kabir Dhaliwal (Hrithik Roshan), a former intelligence agent who goes rogue and becomes a major threat to national security. To counter him, special units officer Vikram Chelapathi (NTR) is assigned to neutralize Kabir, leading to a high-octane game of cat-and-mouse, packed with intense action sequences, espionage, and drama.
