Amazon MGM Studios India’s upcoming theatrical release Nishaanchi is already making waves after its first look created quite a stir online. A raw blend of action, drama, and humour, the film explores the complex bond between two brothers — mirror images of each other yet separated by choices that shape their fates.
Imtiaz Ali hypes Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi starring Aaishvary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto: “Wait for This Film Guys!”
Adding to the growing buzz, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali took to social media to share the track Dear Country from the film while praising the project. He wrote,”wait for this film guys!!! @anuragkashyap 10 at his best!! stunning performance @itsmonikapanwar @aaishvarythackeray (unbelievable) @raghav45″. The film’s teaser was unveiled earlier this month where audiences got a glimpse of the seeti-maar entries, larger-than-life characters, and oodles of drama as it promises entertaining, gritty, and massy storytelling — with explosive moments, raw emotions, and the unmistakable Kashyap edge.
The post has only amplified anticipation around the film, which marks the acting debut of Aaishvary Thackeray in a high-octane double role. Starring opposite him is Vedika Pinto, with Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra essaying pivotal roles.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Nishaanchi positions itself as a quintessential desi entertainer. Combining Kashyap’s signature gritty storytelling with masala cinema elements, the film promises a heady cocktail of action, laughs, and raw emotional drama.
