Katie Price and Peter Andre were once the most talked-about couple in the entertainment world. However, as the world saw their beautiful love story fall apart, it turned into an ugly show, which people still haven’t forgotten. Now it seems like there is a new addition to the row as Peter has shot some blistering accusations at his former wife, Katie. Peter called Katie out for her ‘repeated lies’ and shared some shocking details about their divorce.
It has been almost two decades since Peter Andre and Katie Price parted ways, but their feud has only gotten worse over time. Peter has now condemned her latest ‘comments’ regarding his children’s welfare and living arrangements, and vowed he was prepared to ‘set the record straight’ after 16 years. However, before we get into the public spat, let us start from the very beginning.
Peter Andre and Katie Price’s romance and marriage
Peter Andre and Katie Price crossed paths on the set of I’m A Celebrity in 2004; the two quickly bonded despite the latter being in a relationship with Scott Sullivan at the time. Nonetheless, love bloomed between the two and they even shared a hammock during their stint on the ITV programme. Not long after, the duo made their relationship official and got married.
Peter Andre and Katie Price tied the knot in a lavish, fairytale wedding at Highclere Castle, best known as the Downton Abbey location. The model arrived at the venue in a Cinderella-style carriage pulled by six white horses. She donned a vibrant pink satin gown with a seven-metre train, a crown, and a beehive bun. Peter wore a white tuxedo covered in Swarovski crystals. The day was truly one for the books. However, little did the couple know that their fairytale wedding would soon turn into a nightmare.

What started as a storybook romance soon took a turn and descended into something neither Katie nor Peter wants to remember. The split came after the duo welcomed their second child, a daughter, Princess, in 2007 and a month after Katie’s heartbreaking miscarriage at 10 weeks. However, it wasn’t an amicable separation or didn’t remain one, as Katie claimed that Peter’s disapproval of her ‘party-mad’ ways was the reason for their split.
Nonetheless, Peter remained tight-lipped about what happened. While he never made any clear statements, it’s believed that one of the reasons behind their separation was Katie’s alleged infidelity, accusations she has consistently rejected. Fans knew it was over when Katie got her tattoo of Peter’s name covered with a black cross, while Peter had his tribute for Katie removed.
Peter Andre and Katie Price’s ugly legal battle
Things further deteriorated as Katie Price filed a lawsuit against Peter Andre for allegedly revealing intimate details about her personal life in 2012. Later that year, she alleged that Peter was preventing her from seeing her children on Christmas. She also revealed that Peter had suspected that she was having an affair with her horse trainer, Andrew Gould, which was not true. Given their hostility towards one another, the High Court judge finalised their divorce in barely over a minute in 2009. During their separation Katie vented on X about Peter and said:
“I HATE him so much. I wish people knew what he is really like!”
The extremely public online spat between Peter Andre and Katie Price
Peter Andre and Katie Price have once again been hogging the headlines as the former has called the model out for her comments about their children. Taking to his Instagram on August 14, 2025, Peter revealed that he had been silent for 16 years, despite the lies, out of respect for his children. However, being silent has been extremely frustrating, and it has to end now. He added that the latest comments about his children, Junior and Princess’s welfare and living arrangement, have forced him to set the record straight.
Peter Andre added that Junior and Princess came into his care in 2018 and stayed with him until they were adults. He explained that the family court issued a legally binding order in 2019 regarding the arrangement in question. However, he never said anything out of respect for his kids. He added:
“In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”
Katie Price’s representatives responded to Peter Andre’s statement, sharing that Katie is now in a much better and clearer headspace and doesn’t feel the need to revisit the past constantly. They added that for her, it was more important to deal with this the right way. The rep was quoted as saying:
“Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation. This was in the past, and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly, she’s dealing with this the right way, and it’s now in her lawyer’s hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was.”
