A case has been filed against actor Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, and another individual, for allegedly cheating a businessman of over Rs 60 crore.
The case against Shetty and Kundra was filed by businessman Deepak Kothari, who alleged that the couple conspired to defraud him of Rs 60 crore between 2015 and 2023.
According to Mumbai Police, Kothari claimed that he invested the money to expand his business ventures. But instead, the funds were allegedly spent on personal expenses by Shetty, he claimed.
