Choreographer Vijay Ganguly is on a roll. After wowing the audience with his work in Saiyaara, he now looks forward to his upcoming films. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, he shared interesting information about his upcoming films like the Farhan Akhtar-starrer 120 Bahadur and the Alia Bhatt-Sharvari spy action film, Alpha.

Vijay Ganguly said, “I have worked on 120 Bahadur with Farhan sir. We shot the song 3-4 months ago. It’s a beautiful track and it was filmed in Rajasthan. It’s a retro track, jaise purana zamane ke gaano mein Dilip Kumar naachte the. He’s too good. People will surely enjoy watching him as he’ll be appearing in a dance number after a long time.”
He added, “When you work with people like Aamir sir or Farhan sir, you realize why they have been in the industry for so long, why they are still relevant and why people still want to watch them. They are thorough professionals and they know their job. They’ll not argue or brag that they have so many years of experience. They are just amazing.”
Vijay Ganguly also revealed, “I also have a song in Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.” Will it be a glamorous number? He simply replied, “Yes.”
Vijay signed off by stating, “It’s important for every technician that the film should work. If the film works, everything works. Aap kitna bhi accha kaam kar lo, it won’t have an impact if it doesn’t reach the audience. I had done a song ‘Main Parwaana’ in a film called Pippa (2023). It’s one of my favourite pieces of work. But it never reached the way it should have, probably as the film was released directly on OTT. Nevertheless, it did get noticed to some extent.”
Vijay Ganguly continued, “That’s why we pray that our films work as then, automatically everything about it gets in focus. Like it happened with Saiyaara. Because the film worked, my choreography is being talked about.”
