It was two days ago when it was reported that the American rapper, T-Hood, was found dead in his home. The rapper was shot by an unidentified man, and now, after days of relentless probing, the police have finally made some connections. However, unfortunately for Ky Frost, he has become a prime suspect in the murder.
Ky Frost is named in the murder of T-Hood
Rapper, T-Hood was shot and killed at his Georgia residence on August 8, 2025. However, for days, the identity of the murderer remained unknown, but cops are now naming the son of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars, Kirk and Rasheeda Frost, Ky Frost, as the prime suspect in the case. An incident report from the Ready 2 Go rapper’s death was obtained by TMZ, and it revealed the same.
According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, the 24-year-old Ky Lasheed Frost is being alleged as the prime suspect in the T-Hood murder case. The news has left the entire internet shocked as no one expected the case to take such a stark turn. T-Hood’s mother also told the outlet that ‘the killer was the son of Rasheeda and Kirk Frost.’
Why would Ky Frost murder T-Hood?
According to reports, the reason behind T-Hood’s murder by Ky Frost could be the possible ‘domestic dispute’ between the rapper and Ky’s sister. Yes, T-Hood was also dating Kirk and Rasheeda‘s daughter, Kelsie. The couple allegedly got into a domestic dispute at T-Hood’s home the same day he was killed. However, Kelsie has addressed these conspiracy theories that have circulated connecting her to his death.

According to Bossip, Kelsie doesn’t even have the time to grieve the loss of her boyfriend, T-Hood. She added that she is not even able to mourn the loss or pay his respect to the deceased because she is constantly defending herself since the news of his demise broke out. She shared that people are creating weird and sick rumours and stated:
“I don’t even have time to grieve or say my respects in the right manner because I am defending myself, being attacked by people who are creating weird and sick rumours.”
T-Hood’s case was first seen as a ‘self-defence’ shooting
Officers arrived at T-Hood’s residence in Snellville, Georgia, on Friday, August 8, 2025, to find him shot. He was then transported to a local hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries. One unnamed person was detained in connection with the shooting and has been interviewed by police. Official charges have yet to be announced. However, initially it was being looked into as a self-defence shooting, as a female victim was found with physical injuries. While the report didn’t name the female earlier, it is now being alleged that it might be Kelsie. According to an earlier statement by the police:
“The case is being investigated as a possible self-defence shooting, and there is no evidence to suggest the involvement of additional parties beyond those residing in the home.”
